Hi, Thanks for reading my About me.

I’m Sophie from Slovakia, originally I’m from Hungary. Have you ever been in theese countries? You should come once… Now back to my crafter life.

I was a little girl when my grandmother taught me to crochet and embroider. I learnt the basic steps and made some smal projects. I was a crafter since my young ages, I made name bracelets, indian styled macrame bracelets, painted rocks and everything what a teengager girl loves to do.

When I was pregnant with my first son, I started to crochet again. This time I learnt from video tutorials and crochet blogs. Time after time, as I practiced, my amigurumis become nicer and detailed. I made my brand and here we are, I’m a momprenuer crafter.

If you would like to see my plushies I have for sale, please visit my Etsy shop. If you want to see my free patterns, just click on the menu. I will fill up with new projects slowly.

About my personal life, I got married in 2013 and I have 2 sons. We live at Komárno, it’s a beautiful small city at the slovak-hungarian border. Now you can see my connection with the 2 countries. 😉

I have a charity project here in my hometown, called Octoper. It’s held in every October when we crochet octopuses for the local hospital. They have neonatal department, so all the babies here arrive on time. But it doesn’t mean they don’t need theese lovely helpful plushies. I make the project with my crochet partner and good friend Noémi aka Nomini. We manage the campaign together. We accept 100% cotton yarn donations, we have supporter products and we teach the method of the perfect octopus crochet. After the campaign we collect all the octopus donations and Noémi and I bring the baby-safe washed plushies to the hospital.
